Kaibab Encampment

We're Baaaack!

...and we survived each other's company for 4 days.

What's better for family togetherness than 12 straight hours of rain when you're camping?

Just kidding! They are hiding in the bathroom, cause dad caught a bee in the trailer.

Hah Hah! Dad already threw the bee outside and is just holding the cup in the same spot so they'll stay in the bathroom longer....

"Tetherball-Swing" anyone?
The top of the tree after the wind snapped it off (2007) where the swing cable had choked it off for 40+ (50+?) something years.
This is the top of what my kids call "the family tree."

Now you see me...

Now you...

still do...

If your "tether-swing" goes too far, don't turn your back on the other half of the old swing...it's to the right of the picture. (No longer attached, but still in the way of a good high swing!)

Had a great time! Wish you were all here!

What fun! I'm glad you take your kids to that old swing. Didn't Dad and Grandpa put it up all those decades ago? I love how you pose your kids in chronological order!

If I could get the old photos from mom, I could show you that she used to do the same thing when we went to Kaibab, so I cry "tradition."

Why did you cut that first picture in half?
