Koby, oh, Koby....

.
.
He should really be on here as much as Kauri, but never quite makes it.
So,
he made it finally.
The other day, Koby was asking where to find some clean socks.
I told him the dryer was full of them, and he said,
"But there are only left socks in there."
.
What?
.
.
.
That's right.
.
There is such a thing as a left sock.
.
.
You know, the ones that you put on your left foot and they seem to stretch to fit the foot and never seem to fit correctly on the right foot again?
.
.
Betcha didn't know that one.

Kauri's Kitty Kat

Every week after the block,
all of the children line up at the bishop's door
to get a candy for being reverent.
(Which just happens to be the noisiest place in the
building
when they do, funny how irony works, isn't it.)
.
.
.
Good for me, cause my kids like to share with me,
and I have a lot of kids in the primary.
Today, Kauri excitedly offered me half of hers:
.
.
"Mom, do you want some of my Kitty Kat?"
.
.

Kortie!

Yeah, I know.

He is NOT old enough for this.

Kamarie and Aaron

Kort's special baptism dinner with mom and dad.

He got a salad. Yummy. Too spicy for him , though.

Did I tell you that we found nearly $10,000 lying in the road one morning.

It had fallen off someone's car.

The manager of Durangos' car.

We got it back to him, he promised us a free dinner, then lost our contact information.

I called him 3 months ago to cure my curious mind to see how much money it really was,

and he remembered the day as if it was yesterday.

He gave each of the "finders" a $50 gift card.

Our family got $250.

Yum.

How do I say this?

Kauri and I were discussing cleaning (herself)
up in the bathroom, or the lack of it.
I told her that if she needed my help to wipe,
she could just call me from the bathroom
and I would come help her.
(I meant that she could call TO me.)
But the response I got was:
"But there are no phones in the bathrooms at the school."
