Cowboy Cake



Mama T’s Cowboy Cake

1 ½ cup sugar 2 tsp baking soda
2 cups flour dash of salt
2 eggs (beaten) 1 can of crushed pineapple

Mix flour and sugar together. Add soda, salt, pineapple (juice to) and eggs. Mix well and pour into a well greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
Frosting (Make this while the cake is baking)
1 ½ cup sugar 1 ½ cups coconut
1 stick oleo (butter) 1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans 1 small can of pet milk (not sweetened condensed)

Mix all ingredients except vanilla together in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil and boil for 6 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour over cake as soon as you take the cake from the oven.
Let cake cool completely before serving. Yummy!!
