Random October Moments

My itsy bitsy baby.

The High School
Jazz band played at mm 25 for the marathon runners to cheer them on.

Kyson walked around
and back and forth
and got a lot of high fives from the runners.
The Middle School Jazz Band played at mm 25.5 at the Tabernacle.
This is my first time seeing Koby play a drumset.

The college homecoming parade: we got pizza from Dominos
again!
These beads were also being thrown.
But, they are not necklaces...

Kashton's first band concert:

Kyson was embarrassed to be there till he found out two of his best friends were there also.

Isn't it awesome how "friends" can make a 15 yr old SMILE?

Cute picture, Kyson!!!!!

Halloween post

.
.
.
.
.
.
.

For the school parade, Kort wanted to be a burglar.
I have no idea how he even knew what one looked like,
but he put his own costume together.
I added the duffle bag with the
electric cord hanging out .

Kauri walked with him.
.
.
.
At the mall.....

.
.
.

I got to stay home with the baby this year and hubby took the kids around the ward.
They would stand on the bike trailer frame "chariot-style" and ride behind his bike.

.
.
.

I didn't know who this was when it appeared on my doorstep.

not till the rest of them showed up too.
.
.
.
Katy made an appearance, and went through the haunted house next door with Kauri.

Sick boy made an appearance.
He spent the day before at a swim meet in Cedar and party till 12:30 am .
Then had to be back to the bus for a swim meet by 6 am.
Then, pit practice for the play Brigadoon from noon til 3 pm.
Then sleep till pictures at gmas.
Then sleep till the partying was over.

.
.

My giant spider gets a lot of attention when I put it between our trees.

I got a few things on clearance last year, and they include the
cauldrons
that I put on each pillar. Those are my favorite accessory.
The giant glowing ghost in the center...

and this stack of jack-o-lanterns.
I copied it off a comic strip.
The eyes glow in the black light.

I found out that lots of families use our house for their family photo ops.
I usually do too,
but Kash went with his friends, and Koby went with his.

It's nice to have that day over with.

Our ward comes up with some crazy ideas...

What do you expect when you show up at a

Ward Halloween (Chili contest, YM/YW carnival, Trunk-or-treat) party?

Do you expect a LIVE BAND?

A convict inside a jail?

A really old car being driven by really old dead pirates?

How about this one....

WAC-A-MOLE?

(or should I say WAC-A-Priest?)

LOL LOL LOL

We got an award in the car decorating contest as well as the really old car with pirates.

Kortlen turned 7

A "dino-mite" birthday for a "dino- mite" kid.

Pizza!!!

Cake!!!

Cake for the family, cupcakes for the friends,
only
this year I thought it would be more fun for 7-yr-olds to eat a dinosaur.
So,
2 cakes.

He rolled out all of the orange gum drops and made
plates for the stegosaurus.

Kauri helping by taking pictures.
This is me making the volcano.
I am frosting marshmallows stuck together with toothpicks.
(I forgot to make an extra cupcake.)
Party time!

Some of my bizzy life

This friend was due 2 weeks before me.
Her baby was born 1 week after Kamarie.
Look at the size difference.

Cute picture of these two girls.

This is where
i spent most of my week that week.
.
We gotta get a new router cause ours is moving to Vegas tomorrow with Christopher. (it's really his)

For my birthday:

homemade chocolate oreo ice cream and lemon cake with Hershery's cocoa chocolate frosting.

YUMMY!
except...

hubby let me lick the frosting beater and sample the oreos before we sat down to eat it all, cause this is how I felt half-way through...

Grandma made a cute card as always. (with cute money)

.

.

.

.

Got paper scissors?

.

Got beauty center mannequin?

.

Got 4-yr-old?

.

.

She will experiment with them.

First cut the beauty center mannequins hair , then
give herself a "dyke-do".
And I was going to get her picture taken the next Monday.
Ugh.
Let's end on a happy note...

Can't get much happier than that!

Kamarie will be blessed tomorrow.

Between her fussiness from her gas bubbles,
and her hungriness every 1.5 hours,
I have spent the week making her a dress.
I am still working on it.
Lace, buttonholes, buttons, and a headband
is all that's left.
Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Can write more later.
