had to take 3 seconds off their time in order to qualify for state.
They didn't know it at the time.
They thought they just had to take off 1.5 seconds.
They easily took 2nd place of 3 teams in both of their relays.But, the highlight of the night came
when the 4 of them
shaved off
3 seconds
from their absolute best time in the
200 freestyle relay
and qualified to go to STATE.

.
.
And then,
the mom,
me,
got to wave at the camera and act crazy on the local news
and embarrass my teenager.
Woo Hoo!
Love those parental paybacks.

congrats to Kyson's relay team! I would have LOVED to have seen you on tv. Did you record and save it? Can you post it? Just a thought.
